Fuzhou Port Group has established Intwenational container business ties with West Africa,West America,mediterranean,Japan,Korea,Jinmen-Mawei-Mazu,Southeasten Asia,Hongkong,Taiwan and other domestic feeder lines.It's domestic container service reachs to manor ports such as Yingkou,Dalian,Shanghai,Xiamen,shenzhen and etc.It will soon open new lines to Europe and MiddLE East.Fuzhou Qingzhou Container Terminal Limited boasts an annual handling volume of 600,000 TUES.China Cargo Service Transportation Competition has honoured it with favourable container port for 4 cinsecutive years.Fuzhou International Container Terminal has built up 505m berth totally with 35 hektarescontainer yard.Its channel depth(theoritically basic level)arrages from 15.5-17.2m.It is estimated that in the year 2008,the container coast will reach 1650m and the land side will reach 1500m.The container vessles of the six or seven gernatrion of current size are able to cll and the annual handling capacity will rise to 3 million TEUS.The NO.4 and NO.5 berth of Jiangyin port .There will be two 50,000 tonnage capacity berths in the year 2008 for container vessels of the six generations.The berths are designed for an annual handling volume of 480,000 TEUS.The length of the berths is 667m.It is planed that the NO.1 berth to NO.5 berth at Port of Jiangyin will be as long as 1650m totally.After the completion of this project,the NO.5 berth will be able to make five 50,000-tonnage container vessels berthing at the same time.
